Manager, Data Warehouse

Description

Summary:

Huntington Bank is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Manager to join our Data Technology organization. In this leadership role, you will guide a cross-functional Agile team of 10 and manage a vendor team under a Statement of Work (SOW), all dedicated to ensuring high-quality, trusted data across the enterprise. You will coordinate and lead the delivery of data integrity controls across the enterprise, as outlined in the Data Integration Standard, to support critical business processes.

We’re looking for someone who is highly accountable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured environment where accuracy and thoroughness are essential. You should be able to take direction, work independently, and ensure that all deliverables are reviewed and meet high standards before reaching leadership. If you value data as a strategic asset, enjoy mentoring teams, and thrive in a role that requires precision and ownership—this opportunity is for you.

This is a hybrid position, requiring in-office presence at least three days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross functional agile team to build integrity controls on inbound and outbound data movement, including batch integrations and APIs.
  • Manage a vendor SOW for the build out and testing of integrity controls as required by the Data Integration Standard. Ensure required documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Prioritize and sequence scope for the vendor SOW. Track progress, remove blockers and report status to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Platform Administration team and impacted application teams for control build, warranty support and a build to run transition.
  • Develop processes to track and validate work completed by the vendor team.
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching, support development plans and complete performance evaluations.
  • Onboard and offboard resources to the SOW and team, as needed.
  • Support production incident resolution and continuous improvement to drive efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years as a technology manager with direct people leadership responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams through the full project lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, especially when reviewing and validating deliverables.
  • Highly accountable and self-motivated, with the ability to take direction and independently drive tasks to completion.
  • Comfortable working in a structured environment where work must be reviewed, signed off, and meet high standards before final delivery.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices, including testing, validation, and implementation.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using Excel to organize tasks, track progress, and provide real-time status updates.
  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data management practices, including data quality frameworks.
  • Experience building data integrity controls using custom solutions or vendor tools (e.g., Infogix, Data360).
