The Executive Director of Data, AI & eCommerce Transformation will be a key architect of our digital strategy, driving enterprise-wide innovation and customer-centric transformation. This leader will shape the strategic roadmap for eCommerce, data intelligence, and AI integration across the Consumer Regional Bank (CRB), ensuring that every digital interaction is frictionless, personalized, and value-generating.
Executive Mandate
This is a high-impact, enterprise-facing role requiring a seasoned transformation leader with a proven track record of driving digital reinvention at scale. The successful candidate will:
- Set and execute a bold vision for omnichannel digital engagement, integrating AI and data science into core banking experiences.
- Lead cross-functional transformation across product, technology, marketing, and operations to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, translating emerging technologies into competitive advantage.
- Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Commerce Strategy & Leadership
- Architect and evolve the CRB’s eCommerce platform to deliver seamless, personalized, and scalable digital experiences.
- Drive platform innovation using AI-powered personalization, dynamic pricing, and predictive engagement.
- Define and monitor KPIs that align with strategic growth, including conversion, retention, and digital revenue.
- Stay ahead of digital trends, emerging technologies, and customer expectations to inform strategic direction.
Enterprise Data & AI Transformation
- Develop and lead the CRB’s Data & AI strategy, aligning with enterprise goals and customer needs.
- Identify high-impact use cases for AI and analytics across customer journeys, operations, and product development.
- Foster collaboration with enterprise data leaders to ensure alignment, scalability, and shared insights.
- Measure and communicate the business impact of AI initiatives to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Strategic Leadership & Talent Development
- Operate effectively within a matrixed organization, influencing across lines of business and functional areas.
- Set a forward-looking vision for omnichannel engagement across digital and physical channels.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams in data science, digital strategy, and eCommerce.
- Forecast future skill needs and develop organizational capabilities in AI, analytics, and digital commerce.
- Serve as a change agent, driving adoption of digital-first thinking and data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
- 15+ years of executive experience in digital transformation, eCommerce leadership, and data strategy.
- Proven success in leading enterprise-scale digital initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Deep expertise in AI, analytics, and customer-centric digital platforms.
Preferred Experience
- Financial services experience with exposure to marketing, risk, compliance, and customer experience.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, digital customer journeys, and conversion optimization.
- Expertise in predictive modeling, personalization algorithms, and experimental design.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presence.
