Description
The Treasury Management Sales Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of treasury solutions sales strategies. This individual leads a team of Treasury Management Advisors and Specialists, fostering a high-performance culture focused on client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. The role requires deep expertise in treasury products, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across business lines to deliver integrated financial solutions to commercial and corporate clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Treasury Management Advisors and Specialists to achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in sales processes and client engagement strategies.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, market dynamics, and client needs.
- Establish clear sales goals, performance expectations, and incentive plans for team members; monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, sales forecasting, and performance evaluations to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and professional development to enhance team capabilities and drive a high-performance sales culture.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and Implementation teams to deliver integrated and customized treasury solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, client segmentation, and competitive intelligence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to support long-term growth and retention.
- Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote treasury capabilities and thought leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage CRM systems and data analytics to track sales activities, measure effectiveness, and inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client-centricity across the sales organization.
- Commercial Real Estate clients; candidates should have a deep understanding of the CRE Industry and experience working with developers, property managers, REITs and private equity real estate firms. Strong understanding of commercial real estate financing structures, operations and market dynamics. They should demonstrate proven success in delivering customized solutions for cash flow optimization, payables and receivables automation, and liquidity management. The ability to navigate multi-entity structures and seasonal cash flow cycles—while taking a consultative approach to identifying growth opportunities—is essential.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years in treasury management sales role focusing on CRE
- 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership or team management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Preferred Qualification
- Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory awareness
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent high-level treasury certification (for Healthcare; CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative))
- Master’s degree (MBA or similar) in a relevant field
- Recognition for outstanding performance in treasury services sales or corporate banking
- Established network of industry contacts and involvement in industry associations
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Deep knowledge of treasury services/products and industry applications
- Demonstrated deep industry expertise (if CRE state that here in the posting)
- Proven high sales performance and client relationship growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
- Proficient in treasury technology and systems

Compensation Range:
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
