Description
The Business Analyst Sr – Treasury Operations leads assigned projects for the Treasury business segment and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing and creating automation across different processes
- Developing specialized ad hoc reporting
- Ensuring the business is leveraging the fixed income system of record, TPG, to its fullest extent
- Maintaining existing databases and user-developed tools
- Testing and implementing business process and/or system modifications
- Researching and addressing issues
- Acting as a liaison with IT, business partners and third-party vendors/contractors for special projects/initiatives
- Aiding in process flow improvement ideas and implementation
- Assisting with creation and delivery of user training for new and existing applications, products, and procedures
- Adhering to bank policies and procedures
- Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
- Following and/or establishing effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled
This is a hybrid role. You must be located near 5555 Cleveland Ave Columbus, Ohio.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of Business Analyst experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income securities (Treasuries, MBS, ABS, Corporate Bonds)
- Experience with the Federal Reserve Securities custody accounts
- Detailed knowledge of fixed income accounting
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
- Proficient with Fixed Income Accounting applications (TPG, Aladdin)
- Experience working with BNY-Nexen, Bloomberg, Refinitiv
