Description
Summary:
The IS Technical Specialist provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working on ServiceNow enhancements, design, development and test as per business needs in IRM, Project and Portfolio Management, SPM, Incident, BCM, SIR, MISM, Change, and Agile apps/modules.
- Cloud platform modules development data population, data manipulation using Java Script and Web Services.
- Building tables, customizing and design forms, fields as per the customer needs.
- Working with Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Macros, Scheduled Jobs and Background Scripts to expand ServiceNow usage for organization.
- Working on Data Source and building scripts for Transform Map to import data into ServiceNow using import sets.
- Performing unit testing and integration testing on different environments to ensure code quality and performance of development.
- Working on developing the Service Catalog items and complex workflows to automate user’s daily business process.
- Working on Automated Test Frame Work [ATF] to automate regression testing of complex workflows processes.
- Working on integrations with multiple endpoints using SOAP message and REST
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office experience
- Experience working in multi-platform environment
- Ability to balance both development and support roles
- Experience in working on projects that involve business segments
- Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
