Risk Systems Project Analyst - Hybrid Role

Summary:

The Risk Systems Project Analyst provides advanced support for assigned projects, business process and/or system within risk systems projects team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates project activities and collaborate with all project stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintains project documentation including, requirements, design and testing.
  • Organize meetings and workshops as required to meet project objectives.
  • Prepares and reviewed project deliverables.
  • Collaborates closely with team members to meet project milestones.
  • Maintains documentation throughout the project life cycle.
  • Establishes cadence to maintain communication with project team members.
  • Escalate issues and risks as soon as possible and come up with solutions
  • Actively work on mitigating project risk through planning and discussing potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and quality.
  • Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business processes and/or system.
  • Research complex problems and acts independently to resolve.
  • Analyzes existing business process and or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes.
  • Develops and provides documentation for users and project purposes.
  • Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems. 
  • Acts as liaison between software vendors and process/system users or between users and other corporate areas. 
  • May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of system development lifecycle and some experience in project delivery.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Some knowledge of project life cycle management tools such as ADO or Jira.
  • Advanced analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
