Summary:

As a Retail Operations Support Specialist, you are expected to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, open and service consumer and business deposits, provide exemplary customer service and support to partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
- Proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products
- Adheres to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication and presentation.
- Effectively resolves problems and advises on escalations or exceptions by offering solutions that align within our risk appetite.
- Collaborates with other segments and support units to ensure service operations excellence as assigned locations.
- Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to:
- Support the Service Operations Support (SOS) hotline.
- Track risk report exceptions for SOTLs.
- Submit System Access Reviews for new branch colleagues.
- Monitor FC Centralized email box.
- Follow up with branch colleagues on exceptions like missing cashier’s check, unreturned Panini scanners, overdrafts over $10,000, missing Branch Assessment action plans, violations of credit card acknowledgement form, and misuse of promo codes.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
