Summary:
Huntington is looking for qualified candidates to become Physical Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst. In this position of high trust, the Physical SOC Analyst will receive a variety of calls into the SOC, to include but not limited to, alarm activations, medical emergencies, threat of violence, and general questions from Huntington colleagues and contractors. SOC Analyst is responsible for creating and granting access control badges, and review access requests. SOC Analyst will troubleshoot general alarm and access control issues and will communicate effectively with Huntington colleagues, contractors, police/emergency services, and Physical Security Leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Security Operations Center Senior but takes tactical direction from Security Operations Center Manager.
- Creates reports and maintains detailed logs of all calls and activities.
- Contacts relevant security and non-security colleagues to coordinate response or for assistance resolving issues pertaining to access control, burglar alarms, fire safety systems and CCTV systems to coordinate issue resolution.
- Performs access control tasks including creating badges and providing appropriate access as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- One year of service in the military, security, law enforcement role
- One year 911 center dispatching, or physical security operations center role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technology experience (i.e. MS Office, CCTV, Access Control)
- Experience working in a dispatch or alarm monitoring center
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Work effectively within a high intensity environment
