Summary:
The Managing Director of Institutional Investments is responsible for developing new Institutional investment relationships and fostering ideas to increase profitability in the Chicago region and Healthcare industry. In addition, the colleague will identify opportunities based on comprehensive knowledge of clients, prospects, market conditions, current product offerings and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Institutional relationships for the Capital Markets Segment
- Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program
- Facilitate account documentation and trade execution
- Maintain strict adherence to Compliance obligations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field
- 10+ years experience in the securities industry with no identified regulatory issues.
- NASD Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Institutional Investments, specifically mortgage backed securities.
- Successful track record of business building and strategy execution.
- Formal credit training and commercial banking underwriting experience
- Actively involved in community and/or non-profit volunteering services
- Experienced and successful in cultivating new investment relationships
- Ability to analyze corporate financial statements and make recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skill set
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Bloomberg TOMS and Tradeweb
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)

Compensation Range:
$180,000 Annual Draw (reconciled against earned incentive compensation)The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
