Summary:
As part of Huntington’s Corporate Risk Management organization, the Liquidity Risk Regulatory Reporting Analyst will perform on-going testing and assessments of the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of liquidity-based financial regulatory reports; provide technical support and subject matter expertise regarding regulatory reporting interpretations; facilitate and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of Corporate Risk’s conformance testing. In addition, the qualified candidate will display an understanding of Huntington’s business structure, product offerings, and liquidity risk management regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform conformance testing on liquidity-based regulatory and other key reports to validate that the report is consistent with regulatory instructions or guidance.
- Maintain testing processes for the completeness and accuracy of regulatory reports, in accordance with regulatory reporting instructions, guidance, expectations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting requirements to provide constructive feedback and recommendations intended to enhance risk management practices and the accuracy of the regulatory reporting process.
- Document results of testing in consistent and concise manner. Monitor, escalate and report issues to management or other relevant stakeholders on a periodic basis.
- Evaluate changes in liquidity regulatory reporting exposures, and other analytics as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years relevant experience at a large financial institution in performing financial and regulatory reporting, regulatory reporting quality assurance, liquidity risk management, or Audit of these areas
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data base management tools
- Advanced understanding of commercial bank balance sheet and products
- Understanding of liquidity risk management principals including bank regulations; familiarity with liquidity risk management systems.
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to synthesize results into meaningful outcomes for key stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and foster teamwork
