Lease Administrator

Summary:

The Lease Administrator is responsible to learn and understand every aspect of Lease Administration. Will work hand in hand with the team leader in the day-to-day administration of all bank property leases, 3rd party leases and ATM licenses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • May include paying all landlord rents and expenses for leased properties. Working with landlords to resolve billing issues and disputes.
  • May be responsible for performing desktop audits of Landlord billings and real estate tax billings and CAM reconciliations
  • May be responsible for obtaining, reviewing for accuracy and paying all real estate tax bills .
  • Assist as needed with preparation and analysis of 3rd party common area reconciliations.
  • Assist as needed with communicate with 3rd party tenants and property landlords as required to address issues.
  • Prepare and provide monthly reports to Real Estate Managers using information from Visual Lease Lease Management System concerning renewals, expirations, etc.
  • Will work hand in hand with the team leader in the day-to-day administration of all bank property leases, 3rd party leases and ATM licenses
  • Other duties as assigned..


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 or more years prior Commercial Real Estate Accounting or Legal experience especially dealing with Commercial leases required. (not residential or apartment complex leasing)
  • 1 or years of experience with accounts payable and reconciliation
  • 1 or more years experience working with Commercial Real Estate terms and definitions

This is an in office role located at 5555 Cleveland Ave Columbus, Ohio


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency using Excel and Word and experience with real estate management systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Experience working with databases.
  • Detailed and analytical oriented
  • Ability to abstract and input key information pertaining to lease, sublease and license agreements into Visual Lease database.
  • Ability to research tax parcel information using county auditor sites and GIS mapping.
  • Ability to understand the financial aspects of and calculate complex CPI Rent increases, ATM percent rents and Common Area, Tax and Insurance calculations
  • Ability to work in a Team environment
