Job Description Summary
The Event Specialist provides administrative and logistical support for the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of in-person and virtual events. These include regional conferences, leadership meetings, community events, golf outings, and other company engagements. This role involves handling event logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless and impactful event experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in setting event goals, monitoring budgets, and organizing event logistics such as site visits, venue booking, hotel room blocks, vendor coordination, and attendee registration.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create and distribute event marketing collateral.
- Support the exploration of innovative strategies to enhance organizational events and engagements.
- Utilize Cvent to build and manage event registration.
- Assist in planning virtual event components in partnership with production companies to deliver high-level virtual events.
- Contribute to the development of event strategies, procedures, and standards for the organization.
- Support multiple event plans throughout the year to ensure events are completed on target and within budget.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and partners.
- Work cross-functionally to align events with organizational priorities and goals.
- Assist with vendor management, including contracting and onboarding.
- Support submitting and follow through on Marketing Workfront requests.
- Support colleagues in all phases of event execution: pre-planning, on-site management, and post-event analysis. Analyze event metrics to determine ROI.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on content creation and messaging.
- Travel: ability to travel up to 25% for on-site event support
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management
- 1+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or project management.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
- Experience managing virtual and in-person events
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies
- Familiarity with CVENT and advanced Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven track record of supporting successful events across varying formats and sizes
