Digital Store Strategist

The Digital Store Strategist role is responsible for translating Huntington business strategy into meaningful digital customer experiences on Huntington.com and in the Huntington app. As a key member of the Digital Store team this Strategist will provide guidance and leadership on marketing best practices in the digital space.

What You’ll Do?

Work with cross-functional Digital Store and Marketing partners to define and advance marketing efforts within Huntington.com and in the Huntington App.

  • Partner with product owners on the Digital Store team to understand how marketing can support digital experiences.
  • Prioritize requests from the Digital Store team and ensure requests are clear so that the Marketing Department can execute those requests efficiently.
  • Ensure priorities for digital work are clear and digital experiences are delivered on-time.
  • Work with Creative, UX and Digital Solutions teams to ensure digital experiences follow best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and segment owners to create a cohesive content strategy and a tactical content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Analytics teams to create detailed test plans for critical A/B testing on Huntington.com.
  • Contribute to evolving the personalization started within Huntington’s digital properties.
  • Use data from Adobe Analytics and other internal reporting systems to understand website and app customer behavior.
  • Support requirement gathering for technology improvements that will power digital experiences.

Who You Are:

This role walks the line of between strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be able to translate business strategy into digital execution. They are organized, understand technology, can negotiation priorities with multiple teams.

  • Analytical – Can work with internal data and analytics teams to understand digital analytics and customer behavior in the digital space. Able to turn those insights into actionable items.
  • Effective communicator – Able to work with multiple teams to ensure alignment on priorities and requirements for digital work.
  • Flexible – Adapt to changing priorities and focus in the digital space.
  • Technical - Deep understanding of how technology contributes to creating digital experiences.
  • Imaginative – Able to understand customer mindset and envision the detailed customer experiences that bring that mindset to life.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in marketing, technology, business, communications or related fields.
  • 5-8 years in digital marketing, eCommerce, website or content management roles.
  • Prior experience in Workspace, Jira or other project management systems.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics to create ad hoc reporting and dashboards.
  • Understanding of how content management systems (Sitecore or Adobe Experience Manager) and A/B testing software (Adobe Target, Maxymiser, Monetate) contribute to A/B testing and personalized experiences.
  • Understanding of user experience best practices within the digital space.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
