Default Service Operations Specialist I

Summary:

This Process Administrator position provides "Simply the Best" customer service at all times. Under minimum supervision, performs a variety of assignments that are moderately complex and require detailed knowledge of company and/or department procedures. We're looking for a self-starter who wants to grow with us!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handles assigned daily work queues that consist of collector requests.
  • Handles Accounts that are delinquent before it gets referred to foreclosure.
  • Mails letters based on investor and state requirements/ Issues delinquency letters to specific states
  • Reviews delinquent loans that are eligible for foreclosure.
  • Processes delinquent accounts ready for foreclosure.
  • Posts partial mortgage payments based on suspense policies and guidelines.
  • Reviews reports to determine what accounts need loss mitigation solicitations based on regulatory requirements.
  • Reviews exception reporting to determine any process gaps.
  • Processes collections activity requests based on investor guidelines.
  • Position will cross-train to other products
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a processing type function.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and the ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm required.
    • Knowledge of Mortgage Collections Systems
    • Knowledge of Real-Estate Collections.
    • Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented
    • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
    • Ability to multi-task
    • PC and internet proficiency
