Overview:

As a Personal Banker in our Customer Solutions Center, you will thrive in a welcoming, fast pace, and inclusive environment, empowered to assist and reward customers in achieving their personal financial goals over the phone. Your contributions will directly influence our customers, the bank, and the communities we serve. As a Customer Solution Center Personal Banker you will handle inbound sales calls directly from customers and handle warm transferred referrals from other areas of the customer solution center.  

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional "category of one" service and effectively resolve customer inquiries and issues.

Advice and Guidance: Engaging a comprehensive and empathetic understanding of your customers' financial goals, providing relevant education, and recommending tailored products, to empower and equip customers to achieve their financial goals.

Account Management: Open new accounts and facilitate the cross-selling of banking products, including preparing and processing loan applications for closing.

Internal Collaboration: Educate customers about various bank services and refer them to appropriate departments, fostering strong internal relationships.

Product Knowledge: Stay updated on banking products, services, technology, and policies to effectively meet customer needs.

Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Additional Duties: Perform other relevant tasks as assigned to support the overall function of the Customer Solutions Center.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1 year customer service experience

  • 1 year sales experience in a relational and/or needs based sales environment required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be a team player with a genuine enthusiasm for providing Simply the Best Service to customers and Essential Partners

  • Desired candidates will have a strong referral/sales record

  • Candidates currently in or that have previously been in a Retail Personal Banking position strongly preferred
