Summary:

You’re responsible for bringing consistency to our tone of voice, correctness to our copy, and color to our conversations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executing on content strategy – You will be concepting and creating consumer and business-related content for a range of channels that achieves defined marketing objectives. 
• Writing and editing copy – You will be producing original content, editing and proofreading copy, and providing valuable insights to external agencies and freelancers.
• Protecting our brand voice – Your familiarity with our brand guidelines and Associated Press style will help ensure consistency in our tone of voice across all of our marketing initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Reports to Creative Director, Copy. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 5+ years of experience as a Copywriter in a Marketing role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advertising copywriting experience with working knowledge of a broad range of platforms: Print, web, email, social, app, blog, radio, TV, environmental branding, and merchandise 
• Experience with defending brand strategy while being receptive and responsive to feedback from multiple stakeholders in a highly regulated industry
• Familiarity with the various customer segments the bank serves (consumer, private bank, business banking, commercial)
• Works well in a fast-paced environment

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
