Summary:
The Commercial Sales and Service Specialist II's primary responsibility is to support the Commercial team, with a specific focus on supporting the Relationship Managers (RMs) in growing and executing their business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with RMs to review and understand their unique clients and portfolios.
- Assists in maintaining client and prospect information within Huntington’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Assures data integrity within the CRM platform and assists with entering and updating calling and deal activity.
- Primary point of contact with questions, serve as a MAX Champion.
- Assists on regular activities and special projects across the line of business including quarterly/annual reviews, portfolio deep dives, pitch book generation, sales summits, client/prospect industry background/research, and underwriting.
- Apply lessons and best practices across all projects and activities.
- Find ways to improve all activities and processes. Assists with standardization of processes and information.
- Support the segment with onboarding new colleagues.
- Generates and analyzes weekly/monthly reports.
- Responsibilities include some traditional administrative work, such as meeting scheduling, coordination, data entry, creating memos, printing & binding, creating, and formatting presentation materials, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in an administrative role
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in an administrative role preferably within Commercial Banking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Proficient in MAX Salesforce CRM system
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and all levels of management both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Proven problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
- Ability to accommodate a fast passed environment with high demands
