Job Description Summary:

The Commercial Loan Services Specialist 3 is a member of the Government Lending & General Ledgers team within the Commercial Loan Services group. The General Ledger Reconcilement position will assist with balancing GL accounts used within Commercial Loan Servicing as well researching and assisting CLS colleagues with resolution of GL outages. This position will also have the opportunity to cross-train on other roles within the teams.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Monitor CLS general ledger accounts daily

Ensure outages are corrected within provided Service Level Agreements

Identify & assist with escalated outages

Efficiently & effectively communicate with colleagues within Commercial Loan Services and the Centralized Reconcilement team

Maintain strong emphasis on policies, procedures, risk and compliance

Maintain flexibility to meet team needs

Take initiative to work independently while using critical thinking skills and Continuous Improvement principles

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

2 or more years financial services related experience

Experience with debit/credits

Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

General Ledger balancing experience

Proven ability to execute responsibilities with a high level of accuracy

Willingness to proactively advance skills and knowledge base

Ability to work independently and within team

Exemplify a high level of professionalism through verbal and written communication skills

Ability to understand and resolve complex issues

Exceptional ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal guidance to meet government deadlines and established team goals
