Summary:

  • Our Business Intelligence Sr Manager team is growing, and we're looking for an outstanding Manager of Business Intelligence to join our team. Data is at the core of everything that Huntington does, and the Business Intelligence team acts as the guardians of its integrity, and how it can be best used to make decisions throughout the business. Our goal is to be the Best performing Regional Bank in America, and we need data and analytics to meet that goal. 
  • As we advance our data science and analytics capabilities, we want individuals interested in leading the continued creation of existing reports and analytics products, while continually seeking ways to gain greater and more timely insights from the data through improvements to the data structure, toolsets, training, etc. The individual in this position will partner with business areas to enable the development of both strategic and operational analytics, dashboards, and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:                                      

  • Leads and develops a team of Business Intelligence Analysts.
  • Helps set the strategy and tone for the BI strategy and vision for the future.
  • Coordinates ‘Fit for Purpose’ environment for Data Insights and Reporting.  
  • Partners with Demand Management within our Enterprise Data Services pillar to understand and prioritize incoming customer data requests, and manage, prioritize based on business needs.
  • Is accountable for driving, organizing, and delivering work related to programs, initiatives, and/or backlogs.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members and develop team to work with all areas of the organization.
  • Identifies the roles, skills, and knowledge required to achieve organizational goals, and forecasts new skill requirements.
  • Leads the evaluation of tools with key stakeholders across varying management levels to prioritize analytics use cases and requests and maintain the overall book of work.
  • Plans and ensures the execution of work, and achievement of team goals.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are clearly understood and that services meet those needs.
  • Anticipates and analyzes trends in technology while assessing the emerging technology’s impact(s).
  • Serves as a thought leader to stakeholders to uncover ways technology can generate increased value.
  • Coaches' individuals through change and serves as a role model.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Business Administration or related creative fields), Or STEM or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 10+ years related work experience including the following:  strategy development and execution, management consulting (or similar), working with analytics and technical leadership and management experience on data-centric products, big data analysis tools and techniques, writing software requirements and test specifications, using data to drive business decisions, and working with BI and other tooling (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake)
  • Must have hands on management experience with a proven track record of leading and growing successful data teams

Compensation Range:

93,000.00 - 189,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
