Description
The Section Manager collaborates with the business leaders to champion and execute simplified solutions to improve the customer and colleague experience across the Segment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promotes innovative improvements that result in more efficient processes and more informed decision-making; aligning to strategic priorities.
- Designs, structures and “owns” quantitative and qualitative analyses as framework for Segment results and performance.
- Identifies major issues and actionable opportunities, designs solutions and quantifies potential benefit.
- Identifies, implements and leads innovative solutions focused on end to end ownership of the colleague and/or customer experience.
- Partners across divisional leaders and stakeholders to understand issues, navigates through grey areas and proposes solutions, drives consensus and decision making.
- Creates culture of introducing new ideas and fostering change – leverages change management methodologies for greatest segment impact.
- Creates work plans and manages expectations and quality standards for own work and junior team members.
- Fosters strategic and collaborative partnerships across the organization.
- Solves critical business problems through influence management and colleague engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years’ experience with business or commercial lending in a centralized lending environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical-thinker able to quickly identify themes and patterns and connect the dots for solutions or efficiencies
- Strong leadership skills that drive results; Able to lead via influence rather than direct management
- Results-focused, highly-motivated and self-starter
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent writing skills to ensure clear, concise documents, tools, and templates
- Attention to detail and ability to creatively find opportunities for improvement
- Strong communication skills; Ability to manage varying personalities
- Collaborator comfortable working with a variety of leadership levels
- Ability to utilize MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Visio
