Job Description
The Airplane Captain ensures the safe transportation of Huntington executives and guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute safe and efficient flight operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with flight crewmembers, ground staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and knowledge of aircraft systems, performance, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Conduct pre-flight checks, briefings, debriefings, and monitor weather conditions to ensure safe flight operations.
- Document and reconcile all aviation related expenses.
- Ensuring aircraft interior is cleaned and stocked for each flight.
- Accurate completion of all flight documentation.
- Provide maintenance support when needed and assist with database updates.
- On call availability to respond on short notice for flights, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Challenger 300/350 Type Rating (CL30)
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Minimum of 4,000 hours total time,1,000 hours of multi-engine turbine time, and 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command
- Meet FAR 61.56, FAR 61.57, and FAR 61.58 currency requirements
- Ability to maintain a medical certificate as per FAR Part 61
- FCC Radio License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Extensive experience operating jet aircraft in accordance with Part 91 regulations
- Have a valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel internationally
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
