Description
Summary:
The Problem Loan Portfolio Manager, Sr. is responsible for managing identified problem loans to determine credit worthiness, asses risk, and compliance with Bank lending policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages a portfolio of business customers in partnership with the relationship manager
- Supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work
- Problem Loan Underwriting reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions
- Appropriately assess risk profile of borrower
- Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family
- Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and ongoing credit quality of assigned portfolio
- Will work directly with the Team Leader, Relationship Managers, and Regional Credit Officers
- Conduct portfolio reviews with senior management
- Must function in the team environment, where the colleague may be assigned to work with teams outside of their direct reporting line. Participation in special projects is expected
- Prioritize work to meet customer expectations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal credit training
- Proven and in-depth knowledge of credit products, risk assessment and debt structuring
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field
- Ability to underwrite credit exposures more than $1MM
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
- Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality

Compensation Range:
$70,000 - $140,000 Annual SalaryThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
