Wealth Management Product & Strategy Manager

Summary:

Wealth Product & Strategy Manager will deliver a robust and comprehensive strategy ensuring competitive advantage and addressing internal stakeholders and client needs. This manager will engage with multiple stakeholders to understand the spectrum of problems and challenges to be solved across the client and wealth management journey and will play a key role in enabling our strategy and defining the roadmap for integration with various distribution platforms in the future.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Wealth Management Leadership team and other Wealth leaders to develop the vision and strategic direction of the business segment.
  • Develop Wealth products based on a deep understanding of business drivers, competition, and stakeholder needs.
  • Help drive Wealth Management marketing and brand strategy in alignment with business strategy.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement using data analytics, as well as customer/colleague feedback and pain points.
  • Understand complex processes and systems in-depth for those transactions/experiences for which you are responsible.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking and experience comparison with other banks and fintech capabilities.
  • Define Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) for a given initiative.
  • Build a roadmap of initiatives to deliver on business outcomes.
  • Drive cross functional teams, across business, design, technology towards a common goal.
  • Work with agile teams to iterate and build; focus on prioritizing the business value from different pieces of the work.
  • Improve speed to market for those features that will drive the most value to the company.
  • Work with external vendors when appropriate.
  • Partner with implementation teams to roll out initiatives flawlessly for customers and colleagues.
  • Measure performance against expectations; revisit analysis and strategy to modify approach when a variance is recognized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of strategy and product management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams, from presenting conceptual ideas to execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations and communicate within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work and deliver results independently, a self-starter with an ability to get into the details where necessary.
  • Ability to partner and drive results with third party vendors.
  • Solving business solutions at scale with technology.
