Treasury Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Manager 2052a

Description

The qualified individual will lead the FR 2052a reporting team, part of the Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Team. FR 2052a is a key regulatory report focusing on liquidity, thus strong leadership skills are desired given the complexities of the overall process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts to include, but not limited to, training, career development, and managing the workflow
  • Ensures monthly reporting is filed timely with the FRB. This includes well documented reconciliations, completion of controls, and proper signoffs prior to filing. Ensures the bank complies with FR 2052a regulatory requirements including FAQs
  • Routinely reviews processes and seeks opportunities to streamline workflows while ensuring the control / reconciliation environment is well documented
  • Lead projects of varying complexities, often involving various teams across the organization and with third party vendors, as required
  • Regularly organize and lead meetings with Risk Management, Internal Audit, IT, Regulators, and other key stakeholders
  • Support and further strengthen sustainable regulatory liquidity reporting programs
  • Participate in transaction testing and issue remediation to support and improve data accuracy

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Liquidity and/or regulatory reporting experience with strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Treasury, and the balance sheet of a bank. This includes FR 2052a regulatory reporting and LCR / NSFR calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of regulatory rules, including FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and Enhanced Prudential Standards/Reg YY
  • Advanced experience with database structures, modeling techniques, data management, and the ability to execute complex SQL queries
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adenza (formerly AxiomSL)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects in a clear and organized manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal teams as well as third party vendors
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity as well as providing effective challenge as required
  • Highly motivated and proactive
