Job Description Summary:
Responsible for supporting SRO, HR Segment Risk Leaders, and IT Risk Manager in key risk management responsibilities including, but not limited to: risk identification, (top/emerging), risk analysis, risk measurement and monitoring, control testing, reporting (including committee materials), change management, risk assessments, audit/exam requests, process documentation and supporting a strong risk management culture in HR.
Job Description:
- Develop, maintain and produce reporting and HR Risk Committee materials to include, but is not limited to: testing results, metric performance, operational losses, issue management, regulatory changes, vendor management and program & project updates;
- Draft and maintain standard operating procedures and process maps for HR Segment Risk Management;
- Collaborate with HR Business Units on documenting standard operating procedures and process maps;
- Assist with management of findings and remediation plans related to control tests, breached metrics or other issues.
- Review and maintenance of metric results into the Enterprise Risk Management System ARCHER
- Coordinate and execute administrative components of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process and other key activities within HR Segment Risk;
- Provide excellent service internally within HR Business Units and to our customer/partners across the organization;
- Help foster a risk awareness culture within HR
- Support IT Risk Manger by administering IT Risk Standards and Framework as they apply to HR
- Assist the business segment with the measurement and understanding of its information technology risks, managing those risk in line with Segment and Corporate risk appetite.
- Represent Human Resources on bank-wide IT Risk Committee and contribute to the success of the same.
- Ensure adequate documentation of all key IT risks, controls, control tests and metrics in the system of record; analyze and resolve inadequate ERMS records.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk related experience may be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Human Resource related experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all businesses.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
