Summary:
The Section Manager 3 - Operations is responsible for the management of all activities related to Cash Vault in Treasury Management Operations. This management position is a high visibility role from all levels of the organization. Candidates must possess management experience that includes all aspects of risk management, continuous improvement, and making sound decisions for cash vault, including critical receivables and payables and reconciliation of cash/deposit handling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes strategic plans that are in support of corporate goals and objectives.
- Implements new policies and procedures to make the area more efficient and in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions.
- Resolves issues that are strategic, or compliance related.
- Provides direction in the establishment of new policies, procedures and technology.
- Monitors, analyzes and reports on the area productivity to senior management.
- Prepares, monitors, controls and reports on the area's performance.
- Establishes quality of service level for the area.
- Ensure cash vault internal settlement/exceptions are reconciled and cleared timely.
- Support Cash Vault product manager with vendor relationships through business reviews, SLA expectations, and customer/bank escalations
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of direct leadership/management experience in banking or financial services
- Intermediate knowledge of MS products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of reconciliation experience
- Vendor management experience
- Direct cash handling experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
