Private Bank Area Service Manager

Summary:
The Private Bank Area Service Manager, as part of Huntington Bank’s Private Client Group, is responsible for management of a Private Bank Service Specialist team, covering multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, Investment Management and/or Retirement Plan Services).  

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Directs the overall daily activities and ensures timeliness and accuracy of servicing requests for Private Bank clients and advisors.  
  • Provides first line sales and service support.
  • Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
  • Takes personal ownership of complex client issues; confers with Senior Leadership for their input, as needed
  • Drive the team to deepen relationships with clients and Huntington colleagues through delivering Category of One servicing experiences. 
  • Leads special projects as requested by Senior Leadership partners. 
  • Organizes workflow for designated group and/or projects.
  • Responsible for the development, training and supervision of staff  
  • Partners with the sales team on site to present a local team partnership to the customers.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions
  • Provides directions in the establishment of new policies, procedures and technology.   
  • Prepares, maintains and/or monitors activities to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 or more years of Private Bank or Wealth experience
  • 2 or more years management experience or minimum
  • 5 years in service leadership                        
  • Demonstrates confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels within the organization in a professional manner. 
  • Notary Public

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
  • Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality;
