Job Description

Huntington is seeking an experienced Liquidity Reporting Analyst to support an internal strategic initiative aimed at enhancing and building out the bank's future liquidity infrastructure. The qualified individual will provide balance sheet and liquidity analysis related to FR 2052a reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of FR 2052a reporting requirements, banking products, data lineages, and system architectures.

Note: This position can be located in Columbus, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit, Charlotte, Minnetonka.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Monthly FR 2052a reporting duties including variance analysis, month-end reconciliations, and balance sheet commentary.  
  • Support and further strengthen sustainable regulatory liquidity reporting program.
  • Develop, document, and maintain guidance and rule interpretations for liquidity-related US regulatory rules and reporting requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate across multiple departments to meet regulatory requirements and deadlines for FR 2052a reporting program.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the liquidity framework to support ongoing transparency, accuracy, and sustainability.
  • Participate in transaction testing/UAT to support data validation.
  • Coordinate with Segment Risk, Finance Data Resource Group, IT, Treasury and other teams to implement enhancements to 2052a reporting/6G instruction changes, including writing business requirements and performing user acceptance testing.
  • Represent the liquidity team in transformation and improvement projects.
  • Regularly participate in meetings with Treasury, Production, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of liquidity FR 2052a and/or regulatory reporting experience with good foundational knowledge of Financial Reporting, Treasury, and balance sheet categories.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or computer science
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Well-developed analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity.
  • Highly motivated and proactive

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in FR 2052a (5G and 6G) reporting including LCR, NSFR, Enhanced Prudential Standards/Reg YY
