Summary:
The Healthcare Asset Based Lending (ABL) Relationship Manager/Underwriter has responsibility for leading the underwriting and ongoing management for a portfolio of healthcare-related clients. This role ensures loans are properly underwritten, serviced, clients’ financial status is reviewed, and collateral is appropriately analyzed and verified.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads underwriting and portfolio management for healthcare asset-based lending transactions.
- Ensures initial deal diligence and ongoing monitoring comply with bank standards and procedures.
- Assists with internal memorandum for initial underwritings and recurring portfolio reporting.
- Evaluates all aspects of existing transactions of an assigned portfolio of clients to determine viability of the credit; makes appropriate recommendations to senior management and credit committee.
- Monitors credit including independent analysis of financial data, collateral trends, industry knowledge, and economic conditions. Forms an independent conclusion regarding an entity’s financial condition. Ascertains the key credit issues and existing risks in current loan structure.
- Handles large, highly complex deals that are a mix of primarily direct and agent deals with multiple bank participants.
- Develops a working relationship with borrowers or agent banks and business partners.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly portfolio management reports; develops critical financial analysis and processes client credit requests, amendments, waivers, and renewals in a timely manner.
- Reviews client field exams, appraisals, collateral trends, and reporting. Identifies and proactively recommends appropriate reserves, ineligible changes, and credit solutions.
- Visits clients and oversees banker calling efforts to cross sell Bank products to enhance relationship and revenue.
- Presents to Senior Management and Credit Committee annual credit reviews, ensuring proper risk analysis and rating recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years related experience

$175,000 - 215,000 Annual salaryThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
