Summary:

The Director of Private Bank is the leader of the primary sales and relationship management colleagues of the Private Bank, who are responsible for planning and executing strategies to manage and increase the wealth of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. The Director of Private Bank leads a team of Regional Managers located across the Huntington footprint responsible for local delivery of wealth management solutions and service to clients.

Location: Columbus, OH – Detroit, MI – Chicago, IL – Minneapolis, MN – Charlotte, NC

Work Arrangements: In Office

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a high performing sales and relationship management team with a primary focus on capturing assets under management, loans, and deposits
  • Responsible for recruiting and talent upgrade strategies
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics, in collaboration with other Wealth Management leaders, to drive revenue growth by cultivating new relationships and deepening existing ones
  • Manage a team that delivers legendary client service
  • Build strong relationships across all Huntington business segments to deepen client relationships.
  • Partner with the Wealth Management Director and other Wealth Management leaders to develop the vision and strategic direction of the business segment
  • An active participant and visible leader on the Wealth Leadership Team
  • Active and well connected in the community and with external centers of influence
  • Assist in the development and refinement of incentive compensation plans in coordination with the Wealth Management Director and other Wealth leaders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of wealth management industry experience
  • 10+ years sales management experience and a demonstrated track record as an effective leader
