Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst 2 provides systems support for assigned business unit or assigned application(s).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, monitors, updates assigned application systems. 
  • Researches problems and takes appropriate action to correct.
  • Tests and implements new software or software modifications.
  • Develops and provides user training for new and existing applications, products and procedures 
  • Develops and updates documentation to support policies or procedures. 
  • Develops, generates, maintains and monitors reports, files, and/or other data.
  • Responds to questions and provides technical support to members of the business unit. 
  • May act as liaison between software vendors and business unit or between users and other corporate areas.
  • Work with business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client's unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support.
  • Supports one or more business processes, requiring design or integration of functional specifications that may cross multiple functions of the business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years Business Systems Analyst experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with development methodologies is highly desired
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate large cross functional meetings
  • Perform thorough requirement interviews with project stakeholders
  • Ability to document project issues, risks, assumptions and requirements
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
  • The ability to analyze and develop business and technical scenarios and use cases
  • Consistently deliver project status and time tracking regularly to management
  • Conduct comprehensive requirements reviews with project stakeholders, development, architecture and QA teams
  • Good reporting and Excel skills, understanding of XML and SQL queries, web services and API mapping.
  • Experience in working in iterative/Agile environment
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA and/or TFS, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Building and writing requirements for Responsive design, Mobile and UI

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
