Summary:
The Business Analyst 3 will be a member of a team responsible for business support of the bank’s Collections and Recovery systems, data visualization and basic report maintenance, various decisioning and compliance tools, and database management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with Default Servicing Management team to develop dashboards
- Provide reliable data, reports, and analysis upon which decisions can be made
- Cross-train on other platforms as needed
- Produce detailed and accurate documentation of product output
- Ability to map existing processes and work with business areas, vendors and IT to define and implement best practices
- Work in-depth with various business areas to understand processes and procedures
- Proactively identify existing processes and procedures that can be streamlined and automated
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years' experience with collections workflow and processes OR 5 years’ experience with query writing and report creation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Default or Loan Servicing
- Experience with Report visualization tools like Tableau or Crystal
- Experience writing SQL and/or PL/SQL queries and working with a DBMS like Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience developing applications in Oracle APEX
- Experience developing in scripting languages like VBScript or JavaScript
- Experience using change management processes in support of production system promotions
- Can work independently or within a group with little or no supervision producing consistently exceptional work
- Analysis skills to interview and gather requirements
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and demonstrates an accountability for their work
- Positive attitude and ability to learn multiple subjects at the same time
- Skills in teamwork, communication; adaptability; organizational technique, and decision making
- Makes use of clear logic in processes so others can easily follow and maintain them
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand, and interpret end-user requirements
- Understanding of the solution development life cycle
- Ability to work non-standard hours when required
