Treasury Management Service Specialist II - National Deposit Group (NDG) and HOA

Description

The Treasury Management Service Specialist II – National Deposit Group (NDG) and HOA support clients within the National Deposit Group and Homeowners Association (HOA) business segments by delivering high‑quality treasury management onboarding, implementation, and ongoing service support. This role focuses on property management firms, HOA management companies, community associations, and related organizations that require high‑volume operating accounts, specialized payment processing, and strong controls around funds management. The TM Service Specialist II partners closely with Relationship Managers, Treasury Sales, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Product teams to ensure accurate execution, regulatory adherence, and a consistent, service‑oriented client experience aligned to the unique needs of NDG and HOA clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Implementation (NDG / HOA Focus)

  • Manage end‑to‑end onboarding and ongoing maintenance of treasury management products and services for NDG and HOA clients, including property mgmt. firms and community associations.
  • Serve as onboarding coordinator for implementations involving high‑volume operating accounts, assessment collections, disbursement activity, and multiple association or property structures.
  • Review treasury management agreements, account documentation, and onboarding requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policy and client requirements.
  • Coordinate client testing and implementation activities, including ACH collections and disbursements, wires, Positive Pay, remote deposit, lockbox (where applicable), and reporting solutions.
  • Support onboarding efforts that may involve large numbers of accounts or repetitive structures, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and a smooth transition to ongoing service and support teams.

Product & Service Support

  • Provide advanced product and service support for treasury management solutions used by NDG and HOA clients, researching and resolving complex onboarding or servicing issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for treasury products and workflows commonly used in HOA and property mgmt. business models, including operating accounts, payment collections, disbursements, and reporting.
  • Partner with internal teams (Relationship Management, Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, and Product) to deliver coordinated solutions and resolve escalated client issues.
  • Support the full product lifecycle from implementation through service activation, stabilization, and handoff to ongoing support teams.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking laws and regulations related to treasury management services, including those applicable to fiduciary or association‑related funds.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate operational, compliance, or client risk issues, including those related to payment controls, fraud mitigation, account entitlements, and segregation of funds.
  • Maintain a high standard of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling client, association, and member‑related information.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding workflows, enhance efficiency, and strengthen the client experience for NDG and HOA clients, particularly in high‑volume or repeatable account structures.
  • Participate in cross‑functional meetings and initiatives to support new products, process enhancements, and evolving client needs within the NDG and HOA segments.
  • Gather data and prepare summaries or reports for management, audit, or internal stakeholders related to onboarding volume, service performance, or risk items.

Leadership & Development

  • Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced Treasury Management Service Specialists, sharing product knowledge and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, service‑focused approach that supports a high‑performance team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years of experience in treasury management, banking operations, or a related role supporting Commercial Banking, NDG, HOA, or property mgmt. focused clients.
  • 3+ years experience with treasury management products and services, including payments, receivables, electronic banking, and depository solutions.
  • 3+ years experience with analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage high‑volume onboarding activity and multiple concurrent implementations.
  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with clients and internal partners.
  • Experience supporting HOA mgmt. companies, property managers, or national deposit clients.
  • Familiarity with HOA operating models, assessment collections, vendor disbursements, and high‑transaction payment environments.
  • Account analysis experience and understanding of analyzed and hybrid account structures.
  • Experience with treasury and banking platforms supporting ACH, wires, Positive Pay, remote deposit, lockbox, and online banking portals.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and contribute to process improvement initiatives in a high‑volume, service‑oriented business environment.
  • The position requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to delivering excellent client experiences in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
