Summary:

The Card Origination Manager Sr is responsible for ensuring a stable, efficient, and compliant operational environment for Card origination platform(s) held with a Third Pary Vendor. This role ensures credit policy and regulatory requirements are accurately translated and implemented within origination systems, while adhering to established operational and change‑management procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary operational owner for credit card application decisioning platforms supporting Consumer, Secured Card, and ROL Mobile Prescreen portfolios, and as secondary support for Unsecured Small Business portfolios.
  • Lead coordination of platform enhancements and smaller production issues, including drafting change requests, reviewing requirements, and validating testing plans.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, execute testing and production validation activities across Unsecured Consumer, Secured Card, ROL Mobile Prescreen, and other assigned platforms.
  • Participate in scheduled and off‑hour production releases as needed to support platform stability.
  • Lead weekly status update meetings with third party vendor(s) and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the timely resolution of customer‑ and underwriter‑impacting production issues, ensuring responses and reporting occur within defined SLAs.
  • Ensure root cause analysis and remediation documentation is completed within required timeframes and supports sustainable issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to establish and adjust delivery timelines under changing conditions.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to established operational procedures, including daily compliance reporting, production/test table changes, and issue management activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of digital/technology product or program management, preferably in financial services


Preferred Qualifications:

  • New customer acquisition and on-boarding experience

  • Master’s degree in business, management, operations, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working Card products (Debit, Credit, other card-based payment products)
  • Strong attention to detail, focus on process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and make recommendations to remediate issues
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for financial institutions and products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SQL and/or SAS

Compensation Range:

$70,000-140,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
