Summary:
Responsible for cross-selling into our existing client base by identifying and selling additional products and services (i.e., cashflow, forecasting, invoicing, terminals, point of sale, etc.) in the small business space segment $0 - $50 million, as well as generating new sales in our digital channel for the $0 - $3 million space. You will partner closely with the rest of the merchant services sales colleagues and leaders to keep partners engaged and informed of calling and sales efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cross-sell a range of solutions (invoicing, check processing, credit and gift cards, ACH, etc.) into our existing client base and navigate complex hardware and software needs, to ensure the customer completes a successful enrollment.
- Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients, converting leads into valuable partnerships.
- Build pipeline, convert leads, navigate complex hardware and software needs, and close deals, consistently exceedingly daily and weekly targets.
- Work closely with account managers, technical teams, and other internal resources to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for cross-sold and digital solutions to maximize client profitability.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports on cross-selling and digital activities and performance against targets. Track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and monitor customer dashboard daily to address pended or abandoned enrollments, and ensure the customer has a successful enrollment. Accurately report out all leads, opportunities and status updates within the CRM and understand trends in your sales behaviors by using dashboards and reports.
- Leverage partners to learn products and services for cross sales opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and client needs to identify new cross-selling opportunities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance regulations related to the payments industry.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- At least 2 years of sales/inside sales experience in financial services, especially merchant services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Sales expertise in the business space from $0-$50 million in annual sales and the ability to close deals and achieve ambitions targets.
- Expertise in virtual sales in a call center environment.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Juggle complex tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in occasional team meetings.
- Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn additional systems/software. Ability to utilize technology effectively to manage your workload and client relationships.
- Approach challenges creatively and find solutions that benefit both clients and the bank.
- Willingness to travel minimally as needed
- 2-5 years’ experience in merchant services sales in a call center environment
- Bonus points for fluency in an additional language
- Proficiency in Salesforce

Compensation Range:
$20.00-$36.50 HourlyThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
