GRC System Manager

Description

The GRC System Manager is responsible for advancing risk management capabilities and meeting customer needs. The GRC team manages the RSA Archer GRC platform at Huntington. Our GRC capability enables a consolidated view of risk - risk data aggregation and reporting capabilities, automation for risk management teams across the three lines of defense, and scalability in risk management processes, data, and reporting to support Huntington’s continued growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the availability and overall health of a large-scale Archer Integrated GRC Platform with over 80 applications and questionnaires.
  • Supervises assigned team (including use of contractors) in the configuration and support of the Archer GRC platform.
  • Accountable for timeliness and quality of team’s work, in accordance with relevant SLAs.
  • Prioritizes and assigns work to team members and ensures they are appropriately trained.
  • Establishes and maintains team’s work delivery processes, procedures, service level agreements (SLAs), and technical best practices.
  • In partnership with the Director, defines and manages strategic roadmap for Archer GRC platform, including thought leadership around upcoming Archer enhancements, best practices from peer organizations, and how to reduce technical debt.
  • Interfaces with Archer user community and leadership at Huntington.
  • Manage relationships with RSA Archer and other third-parties, including performing third-party risk management activities.
  • Manage relationships with IT partners at Huntington.
  • Be available after hours and on weekends for change implementation and on-call support, as needed.
  • Follow Huntington IT, Data, and Risk Management policies, standards, and procedures, where applicable.
  • Coach members of the team to support their ongoing development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 7+ years of related experience involving Archer development and IT SDLC practices experience.

Other:

  • Must be able to travel occasionally to Huntington corporate offices as required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • Archer Administrator
  • Proven experience as a manager in achieving both strong performance and strong team culture
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for quality
  • Ability to work with varying levels of personnel and across various departments
  • Can provide clear direction, organization, and confidence in the face of ambiguity, complexity, and competing priorities
  • Experience with a variety of risk management concepts and functions (enterprise risk management, operational risk, risk and control self-assessment, compliance, model risk management, IT risk management, audit, etc.)
  • Experience in the banking industry
  • Passion for continuous learning and development

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
