Description
Finance Segment/Region Liaison Sr. is responsible for producing monthly forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Mortgage and Consumer Lending Segment portfolio. This role is a fast paced, deadline driven position, often requiring participation or leading of large complex projects. This individual will work closely with the Segment CFO and FP&A Team as well as Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with Segment FP&A team to create and continually enhance monthly driver based forecast for loan balances and related income.
- Provide monthly variance analysis of performance vs. forecast, budget and prior month.
- Champion the build-out of robust loan forecasting capabilities in new EPM environment.
- Support monthly delivery of Financial Performance Review reports
- Lead and complete special projects in support of leadership and company strategies with a focus on impact profitability and returns.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Finance discipline required.
- 7 years supporting financial systems and data that includes providing leadership to others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge depth in financial reporting tools (e.g., Essbase) and strong Excel modeling skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with any levels of management, up to and including the Executive level.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Understand the concept of materiality (i.e., knows when information is relevant)
- Solid foundational understanding of major financial concepts including balance sheet, ledger, revenue and expenses.
- Strong technical skillset in at least one relational database platform a plus (SAS, MS SQL, Oracle, or IBM db2).
- Ability to proactively manage issues and assignments, and move work forward with limited direction.
- Capable of establishing and managing changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required to meet critical deadlines or business needs.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
