Credit Card Marketing Manager

Summary:

The Credit Card Marketing Manager will be responsible for building credit card acquisition campaign strategies and executing against the strategy to ensure business goals are met. This position collaborates with marketing leaders, product management, analytics,  and IT to provide credit card acquisition marketing expertise, and ensure that campaigns are executed flawlessly, as well as, daily contact with internal clients and external vendors to manage multiple acquisition programs, track campaign delivery, troubleshoot issues, optimize campaigns based on performance and analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns that profitably acquire new credit card accounts for the bank.
  • Create a robust test and learn agenda to improve campaign efficiency and performance.
  • Create and maintain regular reporting that enables clear understanding of story.
  • Help define regular reporting, identify trends and share across the business to foster true understanding.
  • Build test plans to solve for the opportunities found in the regular reporting trends and/or testing experiences that drive the most revenue.
  • Enable informed acquisition and cross-sell opportunities across the site.
  • Researches industry trends and builds them into marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to take complex, strategic ideas and put them into tactical plans.
  • Ensure proper execution and delivery of all marketing campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 7 years of Credit Card Marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance-based consumer and business credit card marketing programs
  • Highly quantitative, analytical and numbers focused
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and agencies
  • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to convey and sell your ideas to senior leadership
  • Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Good project management and execution skills
  • Ability to work individually and also motivate a team
  • Self-motivated, energetic and creative
