Summary:
Capstone’s Vice Presidents are experienced, self-starting individuals who are committed to the success & growth of the team and are eager to lead on day-to-day execution for live transactions. This position involves having a strong grasp of middle market, sell-side M&A and capital raising transaction execution and processes, while managing, training and mentoring of analysts and/or associates.
We currently have positions open within our Consumer, Business Services and TMT sell-side M&A Investment Banking teams. Looking for candidates wanting to work out of Boston, Denver, Atlanta or Chicago.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day transaction execution under direction of Managing Directors.
Management, training and mentoring of analysts and/or associates.
Leading pitch drafting sessions as well as transaction marketing documents.
Assisting in thoughtfully identifying appropriate investors and/or strategic and financial buyers.
Managing and executing on buyer interaction, transaction due diligence, etc.
Review and oversee development of financial models, valuation analyses, research.
Maintain strong relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Demonstrate a commitment to the group’s success on new opportunities, mandates and overall growth.
Strong attention to detail and work product quality.
High degree of maturity, integrity, demonstrated leadership skills and work ethic.
Understanding of key M&A deal dynamics, transaction process, transaction legalese, etc.
Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar
5+ years of sell-side M&A or relevant investment banking experience (middle market is important)
FINRA Series 79 Representative
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Capital IQ.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Advanced degree (MBA)
Proven management skills, from leadership to delegation, to mentoring, etc.
Advanced knowledge of capital markets, transaction legal matters & risk management
Exceptional work ethic and professional integrity

Compensation Range:
$160,000 - $180,000 AnnuallyThe compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
