Job Summary
The Treasury Management Customer Experience Specialist II within the Commercial Card team plays a pivotal client-facing role supporting commercial clients, sales partners, and technical contacts. This role owns end to end implementation, onboarding, technical training, and ongoing service for Commercial Card programs and integrated payments solutions.
The Specialist provides high level servicing and research support for Commercial Card and integrated payables products, prioritizes and resolves complex issues, and drives timely execution of project milestones through disciplined implementation management. Strong working knowledge of virtual cards, supplier payments, AP automation, and vendor portal configuration is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for Commercial Card and Integrated Payments solutions, ensuring ongoing alignment with client needs.
- Serve as the primary contact for service, troubleshooting, and complex research inquiries related to Commercial Card, virtual card, and integrated payables products.
- Coordinate with key partners including TM Product, TM Sales, TM Service, third‑party vendors, and technical resources to resolve Commercial Card or payment‑related issues.
- Provide proactive, solution‑driven communication to keep internal and external stakeholders informed on progress, challenges, and resolution timelines.
- Deliver full implementation and ongoing support for integrated payables and virtual card programs, including vendor portal onboarding, payment file configuration, approval workflows, hierarchy setup, and customer profile management within AP automation platforms.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all Treasury, Commercial Card, and integrated payables processes adhere to all bank policies, operating procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Manage customer issues within established risk guidelines, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely resolution.
- Escalate matters requiring senior attention to ensure prompt issue management.
- Maintain Commercial Card and integrated payables customer profiles with a high degree of accuracy, data security, and compliance with audit requirements.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Create, review, and monitor performance reports for Commercial Card spend, usage, and integrated payments activity.
- Use reporting insights to address client needs, identify training opportunities, and support process improvements.
- Analyze trends within integrated payables and vendor portals to identify configuration gaps, workflow optimization opportunities, or potential card adoption enhancements.
- Cross Department Collaboration:
- Partner with Product, Sales, Service & Onboarding, Technical Support, Operations, and third‑party payment vendors to ensure seamless delivery of Commercial Card and integrated payments solutions.
- Facilitate client meetings to discuss project status, program growth opportunities, system configuration, and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate with TM Product and Technology partners to support updates, enhancements, and issue resolution specific to Commercial Card platforms and integrated payables solutions.
- Overall TM Product & Technology Knowledge:
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Commercial Card, Virtual Card, Integrated Payables, and related Treasury Management products and systems.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Commercial Card implementation—including hierarchy structures, controls, file transmissions, data formatting, and payment file mapping.
- Support clients with vendor portal configuration, virtual card enablement, and secure transmission of payment files to card networks and payables vendors.
- Documentation & Communication:
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Prepare clear and accurate documentation outlining Commercial Card setup requirements, integrated payables workflows, vendor portal steps, and client‑specific configurations.
- Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to enhance Commercial Card onboarding, streamline integrated payment workflows, and elevate client experience.
- Contribute to updates of internal training materials, playbooks, and process documentation.
- Recommend enhancements to Commercial Card and vendor‑portal processes informed by client feedback and recurring service trends.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- 3 or more years of Treasury Management experience.

- Exceptional collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams and external partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range:
$57,000 - $113,000The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
