Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst works with the business partners within multiple business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. Provides advanced technical and consultative support to other team members. Maintains in-depth knowledge of applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s). Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements that will provide operational efficiencies, reduces potential risk to Huntington Bank, and improves end user experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds relationships with business partners who leverage ServiceNow with a goal to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf, maintain platform designed standards and governance, and communicate effectively between business and technical users
- Develops an in-depth understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, potential design and integration of technical solutions, including upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts
- Works with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements as well as establish and strengthen the relationship between teams
- Owns the relationship with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements
- Partners with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification
- Facilitate scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicates with business partners on story status and follow-up
- Align IT resources and processes to meet the client organization’s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions
- Builds roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
- 4-8+ years of related experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow platform knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts: assisting in creation of scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio or equivalent tool
- Experience facilitating groups sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details
- Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion
- Problem-solver mindset; ability to work through grey areas independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Demonstrate technical skills and the ability to learn technology

Compensation Range:
$63,000 - $124,000 Annual SalaryThe compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
