Product Owner 2

Description

As a Product Owner, you will work on a cross functional team to create meaningful and simple experiences for your product’s customers. This position includes direction-setting, discovery, and prioritization of customer wants and needs. The Product Owner will be responsible for articulating and translating the overall vision into strategy and tactics, and for identifying specific solutions to drive necessary business outcomes. The highly collaborative role will need to work closely with stakeholders, end users, functional and technical team members, to rapidly deliver quality solutions to customers.

Detailed Description

  • Representing the customer and business goals while working with technology partners to deliver product backlog as part of a scrum team

  • Defines overall direction of solutions; works to identify and prioritize the backlog to meet needs of the customer

  • Works with systems vendor, technology, digital, retail, marketing, legal, risk, compliance, and customer service partners to ensure successful delivery of product features and services

  • Ensure stories clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product.  

  • Develops business scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria in partnership with other SMEs

  • Provides transparency to business and technology leadership on execution status and product development issues. Assesses opportunities to improve product delivery processes

  • Manages risk associated with delivering products and features

  • Overseas cross impacts and coordination

  • Works with other product teams/owners to align product roadmaps and to focus on delivering the maximum business value to the organization

  • Owns definition of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and features/user stories for delivery

roadmap in-line with OKRs of the greater product vision

  • Develop and track key value drivers that measure effectiveness of product discovery and overall product performance 

  • Work in a scrum team, ensuring the teams are aligned around similar goals and objectives and attending all scrum meetings

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of Business Analyst, Product Management and/or Project Management, Agile delivery experience in Consumer, Business Banking, Check Services or related

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and working knowledge of Agile framework as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Management or Scrum Master

  • Experience in (application to be supported), or payment ecosystem

  • Self-starter who develops plans and is committed to hitting delivery dates

  • Ability to translate business needs to technology delivery teams.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work and communicate across a wide range of technical and non-technical business partners

Compensation Range:

70,000.00 - 140,000.00 Annual

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
