Description
The Physical Channels Innovation Director is a thought-leader with proven success implementing strategic initiatives. This business leader is a visionary, a collaborator, an influencer, and a driver. They are comfortable with ambiguity and can take concepts from the page to the public. They leverage experience from either Branch Banking or traditional Retail CX/ Design to imagine new customer and colleague experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner across the Huntington organization to understand the various strategies being developed/executed and bring those strategies to life in the Physical Channels (retail branches, unique environments and ATMs).
Evaluate and research industry trends, technology innovations and competitor operating models to inform Huntington’s Physical Channels strategy.
Direct strategic thinking and quickly identify the most critical areas of need/opportunity and prioritize engagements.
Adopt a Test & Learn discipline where we learn quickly and adapt strategies as needed - "owner" of an Innovation Lab where we experience concepts early in the development process.
Manage project portfolio, priorities, and demand; collaborate with teams from across the company to define and deliver capabilities.
Continue the development of the Project Genesis concept and successfully launch the new channel.
Partner with Marketing to deliver industry-leading capabilities leveraging AI and other technologies to enhance the Genesis experience.
Support creation of CEO and Board-level executive communications articulating the Physical Channels Innovation roadmap and capabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, economics or finance
- At least 10 years of experience in financial services strategy, product management, innovation, and CX
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA with experience in Banking or Financial Services
Ability to think strategically
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Make fact-based assumptions that drive cost/benefit analysis
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to synthesize data and succinctly tell a story to multiple layers of peers and leadership
Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines and high attention to detail
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities
Willingness and drive to learn and understand new information
High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships
Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirements
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
