Summary:
The Wealth & Investment Account Administrator on the Institutional Asset Management & Trust team is responsible for professional and proactive administration of trusts, agency and custody accounts in focused institutional and select industries. Responsibilities include account set-up, tracking of dates and deadlines, timely deposit, withdrawal and transfer of funds, and periodic customer communications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete administration of assigned accounts
- Assist the sales advisory team with the development of onboarding processes for new clients as well as strategic and actionable tactics to promote and ensure effective delivery of services
- Responsible for adherence to Personal Trust processes, procedures, polices to effectively mitigate risk
- Works closely with support staff to ensure well-organized administration
- Must take initiative to address issues proactively
- Work with smaller group of clients with high touch needs and attentiveness required
- Establish relationships with key external partners, colleagues and appropriate bank segments
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, OR
- High school diploma and 5+ years of experience in Financial Services
Preferred Qualifications:
- A continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills as well as a desire for advancement and growth.
- Understanding business lines and services, including Pooled Trusts, Reinsurance Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Pre-Need and Perpetual Care Trusts
- Strong experience in compliance and risk management
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication, analytical, and operational skills
- Capable of self-managing multiple tasks, projects and assignments in a changing environment with competing priorities
