Overview

The Group Product Manager for Liquidity & Pricing leads the strategy, development, and performance of the bank’s liquidity management solutions and enterprise pricing frameworks within the Treasury Management organization. This senior leader oversees a portfolio that includes commercial deposit products, liquidity optimization tools, earnings credit rate (ECR) strategy, account analysis, and pricing governance across Treasury Management offerings.  This role blends product mastery, financial acumen, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure the bank delivers competitive, profitable, and client‑centric liquidity solutions for commercial, corporate, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

• Own the multi‑year product strategy for liquidity management, commercial deposits, and Treasury pricing frameworks.

• Lead a team of product managers responsible for deposit products, ECR, account analysis, and liquidity tools.

• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to inform product direction and pricing strategy.

• Drive innovation in liquidity solutions, including digital tools, forecasting capabilities, and automated optimization features.

Pricing & Profitability Management

• Oversee pricing strategy for Treasury Management products, ensuring alignment with enterprise profitability goals.

• Lead governance for pricing models, discounting frameworks, and exception management process.

• Partner with Finance, Treasury,  to manage deposit portfolio performance, including interest expense, ECR, and balance stability.

• Develop analytics and dashboards to track product profitability, client behavior, and pricing effectiveness.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Guide end‑to‑end development of new liquidity products and enhancements, from ideation through launch.

• Define product requirements, user stories, and success metrics for technology and operations partners.

• Ensure all products meet regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.

• Maintain strong operational controls and support continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Client Experience & Market Positioning

• Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Management, and Client Advisory teams to understand client needs and translate them into product enhancements.

• Develop value propositions, competitive positioning, and go‑to‑market strategies for liquidity and pricing solutions.

• Support strategic client engagements, including pricing negotiations, RFP responses, and complex deal structuring.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Partner with Technology, Operations, Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant solutions.

• Serve as the primary business owner for liquidity platforms, pricing engines, and account analysis systems.

• Represent the product portfolio in executive forums, investment committees, and enterprise pricing councils.

Performance Management & Analytics

• Track product performance, client adoption, operational metrics, and financial outcomes.

• Use data to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and improved client experience.

• Prepare executive‑level reporting and business cases for investment decisions.

Qualifications Required

  • 10+ years of experience in Treasury Management, commercial deposits, pricing strategy, or financial services product management.
  • Deep understanding of liquidity management, deposit economics, ECR, and account analysis.
  • Proven leadership experience managing product teams and complex portfolios.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive‑level presentation abilities.

Preferred

  • Banking / investments / insurance domain is highly preferred.
  • Experience with digital liquidity tools, forecasting platforms, or pricing engines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks impacting deposits and Treasury Management.
  • MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field.

Compensation Range:

125,000.00 - 255,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
