Digital Strategy Manager (Website & Conversion Optimization)
The Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for driving measurable improvements in website performance and customer conversion through data-driven strategy, experimentation, and continuous optimization. This role focuses on the end-to-end digital funnel—from traffic entry through conversion—partnering closely with marketing, product, digital, analytics, and brand to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
This role blends strategic thinking, hands-on optimization, experimentation rigor, and performance management, with a strong bias toward action and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Conversion Funnel Optimization
· Own and optimize key website conversion funnels (e.g., acquisition, engagement, application, enrollment, lead capture).
· Identify friction points and drop-offs across journeys and prioritize opportunities to improve conversion, efficiency, and customer experience.
· Partner with UX, content, and development teams to design and implement improvements that drive measurable results.
Experimentation & Testing
· Lead a structured experimentation roadmap across website pages, journeys, and experiences (A/B, multivariate, and iterative testing).
· Develop clear hypotheses, success metrics, and test designs grounded in customer behavior and business objectives.
· Analyze test results, translate insights into recommendations, and scale winning experiences.
Performance & Analytics
· Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to website effectiveness, funnel performance, and conversion outcomes.
· Use qualitative and quantitative data (analytics, session replay, customer feedback, research) to inform strategy and prioritization.
· Regularly report performance, insights, and optimization impact to stakeholders and leadership.
Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnership
· Translate business goals into actionable digital strategies and optimization plans.
· Collaborate with marketing, product, analytics, technology, legal/compliance, and risk partners to execute changes efficiently and responsibly.
· Influence prioritization decisions through clear business cases, data, and customer-centric thinking.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
· Stay current on trends, competitive landscape, digital optimization, experimentation, and conversion best practices.
· Contribute to evolving standards, frameworks, and playbooks for website performance and experimentation.
· Champion a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
· At least 7 years of experience in digital strategy, website optimization, growth, or performance marketing roles.
· Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
· Demonstrated success improving website and funnel conversion through data-driven optimization and experimentation.
· Strong experience with web analytics and experimentation platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or similar).
· Proven ability to translate insights into clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
· Familiarity with UX principles, CRO methodologies, and customer journey mapping.
· Experience partnering with agile or product delivery teams.
· Background in financial services, e-commerce, or high-consideration digital experiences.
