Summary:
Supports variety of daily activities/functions required with the servicing of existing charged off consumer loan products. Position includes working directly with Management on special projects, system conversions and is the Recovery Testing Coordinator. Ability to work in depth with various business areas to understand processes and procedures. In order for colleagues to meet eligibility requirements for this position they must have significant experience and proven performance supporting various functions within Default Servicing.
Recovery Experience is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handles assigned daily work queues that consist of collector requests.
- Late Fee waivers
- Payment adjustments
- Payment research
- Processes offset debit forms and issuing offset letters
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail
- Handles email requests
- Works out of multiple department e-mail boxes
- Able to meet daily cut off times
- Refers escalated accounts to manager
- Position will cross-train to other products
- Colleague will work through Noble Phone System
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of work experience in a processing type function.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and the ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm required.
- Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented
- Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Ability to multi-task
- PC and internet proficiency
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
