Summary:
The Insurance Sales Executive Senior – Commercial P&C is a high-impact, commission-based sales role offering significant income potential. This position requires strong consultative selling skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry. We provide a comprehensive three-year income transition plan to support your success from day one. The ideal candidate will be skilled in pursuing and closing sales in the Commercial Property and Casualty space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain profitable relationships with new prospects and existing clients.
  • Identify and cultivate potential customers through internal and external networks.
  • Create and implement marketing and prospecting plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for new and renewal business.
  • Execute a mutually agreed-upon annual sales and marketing plan, monitored by Huntington Insurance leadership.
  • Build strong partnerships with bank colleagues to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Promote the full suite of Huntington Insurance and Banking products.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to service teams, supporting their ongoing development.
  • Participate in sales meetings, strategy sessions, and company events.
  • Maintain all required licenses and complete continuing education requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
  • 7+ years experience in Commercial P&C insurance sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
  • Additional state insurance licenses.
  • Proven track record of success across multiple insurance lines, including personal and commercial, property and casualty, and employee benefits.
  • Professional designations such as CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), or CFP (Certified Financial Planner).
